Cee.Gee.Fursuits

About
The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!
I have been making fursuits since roughly 2013. Back then I only made one for myself, wore it every day and then it fell apart after a few months. That is how things go. I then made a new one and also one for my friend and thus my first commission under the name "Stratiatella Creations" was made! Later followed an angel dragon and a few others.
After a bit, unfortunately, some people from my high school days found my socials and started harassing me. I had to start over with a new look and a new name: "Stitching and Fuzz" (it was "Stratiatella Fursuits" for 2 weeks before i switched again so I´m not counting that one)
I did some thinking and came to the conclusion that including my fursona in my marketing feels wrong. So I made mascots and now use my initials as the name!

Why fursuits?
One day in the distant year of 2009 I was browsing youtube and came across a Digimon cosplayer in an Agumon fursuit and was AMAZED at the possibility of a costume like that (I then promptly stalked their entire channel and watched all their convention vlogs. Times were good). A few years go by, I made my first fursona without realizing and then rediscover my passion for anthro animals by finding my old "Basil the great mouse detective" VHS and the memories come flooding back and I. Am. Hooked!
The year is 2013 and I saved some money for material and have been doing egregious research for months before I even start my first fursuit. I recycled an old cheap futon mattress, some old fleece blankets, got some cheap fur blankets at an outlet store and a lot of cheap foamies for paw pads and the eyes. And thus my first fursuit was born

I had so much fun back then! I loved this suit so much and wish it didn´t break after a year.
And now its 2024 (as of the time I´m writing this) and I have made roughly 70 suits. One better than the next. And I don´t plan on giving up any time soon! I have discovered a passion for complicated patterns and weird features and can´t wait to see what the future brigns!
where the magic happens

My workshop is the smallest room in our apartment so I have to be creative with storage. I just recently thought about putting my fur above my work desk and thus removing a giant shelving unit from my room and giving me more space! Definitely recommend! My space can be defined as organized chaos. Stuff has it´s place but will also fly around the room while I´m in work mode!
My work station, much like myself, has evolved throughout the years. I don´t think until I have a giant room stocked with shelving and a giant cutting/work table I will truly be happy with how things are situated. But alas...a cat can dream~

old setup
With me in my chaos is my stinky cat I lovingly call my "supurrvisor"
Her name is Reika but she responds to "pupu" and "stinky"

I have to remind people of the allergy warning here! I have a cat in my space!

Thank you for coming to my site, my space and maybe even letting me bring your character to life! The furry fandom has helped me become who I am today and has helped me love myself! Maybe It can do the same for you!
